Garcia's Bistro - Salem: A Culinary Delight in Virginia

Awesome food! Warm, clean and nice decor. I ate the breakfast burritos and the tomato spinach eggs Benedict. Both were great, but I'd recommend the tacos as they were a different kind of breakfast for me and the potatoes that were with the dish were really great. Service was attentive and kind. Restroom smelled nice and was immaculate. I can't wait to return to try new things!

From the time we walked in we were greeted at the door. We had a party of ten and they accommodated us right away. Half of our group was 20 minutes behind us but they seated us anyway. The staff and owner come to the table welcoming us.when you walk in you are faced with some amazing deserts. The bathrooms were very clean as was the restaurant itself. We ordered many different dishes and all were fantastic. They kept our drinks filled snd came by to check on us periodically. Over all it was a great experience.

I just drove from Georgia to Salem Virginia and needed to eat something while driving, I pulled over and ran into this Garcia bistro brunch dinner Restaurant advertising Street Tacos. OMG! The food is fresh , freshly prepared, flavorful, just the best experience in eating something when you're extremely hungry and you don't want to be disappointed that you made the wrong choice. I would drive from Georgia back to Salem Virginia again just to taste this food. I purchased three shrimp tacos and may I say the shrimp are like large shrimp. The the oh my gosh, the sauce, the vegetables included in the taco, pico de gallo all of that is freshly made freshly prepared freshly served and delicious. Thank you thank you thank you for allowing me to sample what you have to offer everyone every day at your Garcia's Bistro Brunch and Dinner Restaurant. The food was absolutely fabulous. Thank you so much.

Came for Sunday morning breakfast. It feels like a no frills diner and the food was both fast and good just like the service. They have a lot of breakfast options on their no fuss menu. I appreciated the "just right" portion size. They gave me syrup in a little teapot.

Food always comes out super fresh and steaming hot! Service is always great and food is excellent. Breakfast is all day and was nice to enjoy some late breakfast. Highly recommend the French Toast Sandwich, it's delicious! As are the hashbrowns!

We would never have stopped here, given that it looks like a diner, and it was nearly empty when we visited. But, we believed the reviews and were very glad we did! My husband is very much a red meat eater and he couldn't quit praising the tilapia tacos. The shrimps in my quesadilla were huge and succulent. The Garcia's margaritas were huge and it was interesting to have one of each made with different tequilas. Super friendly staff and food was served quickly. Very good prices.

Our first time eating at Garcia’s Bistro and we will definitely be coming back. We experienced prompt service with a smile and delicious food. My husband got the steak omelette and I got the french toast and eggs. Both were fresh, yummy, and a good portion size.

After living in New York and San Antonio much of my life, this little place in Salem Virginia is perhaps the best restaurant of it's kind. I had the steak breakfast burrito today and I probably will again next week.
